In addition to local government funding, it is the generous support of dedicated patrons that makes
it possible for Warner Library to provide free access
to books, information and research tools, and
the many educational and cultural programs
that serve the more than 150,000 thousand patrons who visit the library every year.

A Local Treasure and A Community Resource

The Warner Library, a Neo-Classical Revival style building designed by Walter Blair, was donated to the community by Mr. & Mrs. Worcester Warner, local philanthropists and visionaries, and opened to the public on February 22^nd, 1929. 

The library serves the Villages of Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow, which together have an ethnically, economically and educationally diverse population of 20,302.

The Library is a true community center, offering cultural and educational programs for all ages.

In recognition of your gift, all Donors Club Members will receive:

• An invitation to our Annual Donors Club private party
• An “I’m A Warner” T-Shirt 
• Five “Get Out of Fines Free” card

Club Members who contribute at the $5,000 level and above will also receive: 

• A $250 Gift Certificate to Blue Hill at Stone Barns
• Recognition on the library’s Endowment Fund plaque in the lobby
• Two complimentary tickets for the library’s Annual Cruise valued at $300
