Library Card Application

Residents of Tarrytown, Sleepy Hollow, non-Westchester residents who work in Tarrytown or Sleepy Hollow are eligible to receive a library card. Proof of current address is required to apply for a card.

Children may register for cards in the Children's Room. Your Library card entitles you to use any Westchester County Public Library and the Weschester Community College Library.

There is a $2.00 replacement fee for a lost card. Library materials may be returned to any public library in Westchester County.

Loan Periods

• Books, audiobooks, and CDs may be borrowed for 3 weeks
• New fiction and non-fiction books for 14 days
• Express DVDs 3 days
• Videos and DVDs 7 Days

Summer Loans

Starting June 21, you may borrow fiction and non-fiction adult books and keep them until September 13. Ask at the Circulation Desk for the Summer Loan period. New books, audio visual materials, children's books or books from other libraries are not included.

Renewals

Renew your library materials in person or by phone 631-7734 during normal library hours.
Renew anytime at home by visiting www.westchesterlibraries.org
Items may be renewed one time.
Renewals may not be made on new materials or items on hold for other patrons.

Book Drops

Book and Audiovisual Drops

Library books may be returned in the book-drop located at the bottom of the ramp near the library parking area.

Audiobooks, DVDs, CDs, and videos may be returned in the audio-visual drop.

Overdues
