Wednesdays, from 10a.m. - 1 p.m.  Conference Room C on the 3rd Floor

Warner Library Chess Club

The Chess Club meets the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Thursdays of the month from 6:30PM - 8:30PM. All ages and skill levels welcome. Call Reference for further information: (914) 631-7734.

Warner Library Backgammon Group

Meets the first Thursday of the Month at 6:30PM. All levels welcome. The group alternates between the Audubon Room and Third Floor.



Warner Library Book Group

The group meets the second Thursday evening of the month at 7:00 PM in the Reading Room.  This group focuses on contemporary and classic fiction.  Books are available at the circulation desk one month prior to the meeting. All are welcome.

Mystery Book Group

We will be reading a wide range of mysteries, both fiction and non-fiction.

Computer Help - Monday Evening Classes

Individual, one-on-one computer help is available on Monday evenings at 7:00 pm. Sign up at the Reference desk or call (914) 631-7734 to make an appointment. These classes are free and open to the public.



ESL Conversation Class
Every Monday and Thursday at 7pm in the Mark Twain room, meet up with a volunteer tutor and join other ESL speakers from around the world to improve your conversational skills by speaking and listening.



Free Library-Technology Assistance

Sign up for a 1-hour individualized session with a Warner Library staff member on a library technology issue including email, downloading e-Books or audiobooks, and using online library resources and databases, such as, Morningstar, or NY Newspapers.

Memoir Writing with Edith Glass

 Meet at 10:15am on the following Fridays:  Jan. 27, Feb. 24, March 31, April 28, May 26 and June 30.
This course will help participants record the significant events of their life in their own unique voice. Please join us for a welcoming and non-critical writing workshop.

To join the class for the first time, please write a paragraph about “Your Most Memorable Gift” and then sign up at the Reference Desk (631-7734).



Entreprenuers and small business owners can meet with a SCORE Volunteer Thursday evenings at the Warner Library. SCORE Westchester, a Resource Partner of the Small Business Administration, provides free and confidential one-on-one business mentoring and counseling sessions to start-ups and to existing small businesses. Volunteers are retired business people who  held executive positions in public and private businesses in a broad variety of industries.

Writers' Forum at Warner Library

This informal writing group meets on the Third Floor of the library one Saturday per month.  Jump-start your creativity and get feedback from other writer's.  Upcoming dates for the Writers' Forum are Saturdays July 8, August 12, September 9, October 14, November 11 and December 9.
