THE WARNER LIBRARY BOOK DONATIONS POLICY

Thank you for donating books and audio-visual materials to the Warner Library. A minimum of three boxed donations may be placed on the desk at the side entrance to the Library when the Library is open.  Warner Library and the Friends of the Warner Library reserve the right to discard items believed to be inappropriate for the Library’s collection or for use in the Friend’s book sales. Receipts may be obtained at the Circulation Desk giving only the number of items donated, not the estimated dollar amount.

The Library accepts only:

• Popular fiction books, paperback and hardcover that are in reasonably good condition.

• Current medical, science, business, computer programming books

• Textbooks not less than three years old

• Special interest historical non-fiction books

• LP recordings, musical CD’s and cassettes in reasonably good condition

• Videotapes, DVDs, and talking book cassettes in reasonably good condition

• Children’s items in reasonably good condition
