Senior Benefits

Wednesdays, from 10a.m. - 1 p.m.  Conference Room C on the 3rd Floor

Every Wednesday, a representative from the Medicare Rights Center will be on hand to give advice and answer questions. Senior Benefits Information Center (SBIC) helps older adults and their caregivers find information about different types of government benefits to help them stretch their budgets. You can get a better understanding of Medicare health plans and help paying for prescription drugs.

Meet with trained counselors in a private setting at each center to get information about:

  • Nutrition assistance
  • Home energy assistance program (HEAP)
  • Weatherization and minor home repair
  • Tax relief programs
  • and much more!

For more information please contact Elena Falcone at the Westchester Library System: (914) 231-3240/elena@wlsmail.org.

SBIC is a partnership of the Westchester Library System, Medicare Rights Center and Westchester County Department of Senior Programs and Services. SBIC is funded by the U.S. Dept. of Health and Human Services and N.Y State Office for the Aging.
