In this 2 part lecture series Susan Grunthal will discuss the life and works of Guiseppe Verdi who composed 28 of the world's' greatest operas plus his magnificent Requiem. We will hear at least one overture, aria or chorus from each opera and many from the more popular ones. Susan will tell the stories  and shine a spotlight on the highlights of these operas.

On three Thursday evenings at 7:00 pm, the Warner Library will be showing the video of a TEDx Tarrytown event from October 22, 2017 in Irvington.  The speakers from the event will be at the library to continue the discussions and answer questions. Refreshments will be served.
