Congratulations
are in order to Liz Siracusa for winning the Westchester Library
Association's School-Library Co-operation Award!
The School/Public Library Cooperation Award recognizes excellence,
creativity, and effectiveness in a program that involves cooperation
between school and public libraries. Programs, projects, and cooperative
efforts that took place in 2007 are eligible for this award.
Read a description of the program here.
It is clear that this project was a true collaborative effort among
teachers and students at Sleepy Hollow High/Middle School, and the staff
and Teen Advisory Board of the Warner Library. Connections is well
named and is an exciting and inspiring project.
The Award will be given at the Friday, May
9th WLA luncheon,
which will be held at the Doubletree here in Tarrytown. What an honor for
Liz and for the Warner Library!
