African Dreams (Photographer Visit)

An Evening with David Schroedel and Joe Queenan
Thursday, January 10 at 7 pm

David Schroedel is a resident of Sleepy Hollow with a life-long passion for photography.  During a trip to Namibia and Botswana in late 2017, David took over 3,500 photographs.   In May and June of 2018, he displayed five of them in the Warner Library Stairwell Gallery.  He returns this January with twenty-two images for exhibition in the Fitzgerald and Stairwell galleries.  A conversation between David and the American journalist, critic, and essayist Joe Queenan on the chosen subjects of these photographs will take place at the Library at 7:00pm on Thursday, January 10th.  In support of the Warner Library and The Neighborhood House, all displayed prints will be available for sale at the conclusion of the exhibit. Refreshments will be served.
